Historic Pennsylvania Coal Site, Innovative Company
Since the discovery of this coal reserve in the late 1700’s, the site has been known for both its coal quality and its strategic location convenient to railroad, highway and ocean transportation.
To maximize the site’s value and output, Lehigh Anthracite was formed as a joint venture by the owners of Robindale Energy Services and BET Entities to operate a surface mine formerly controlled by Lehigh Coal & Navigation Company. The partners bring deep expertise in both energy (Robindale is the largest coal refuse reclamation company in the United States) and real estate management, development and leasing.
